I bought this outfit today from Tilly’s. If I tried this on two years ago, I probably would have put it back. It just makes me really happy to feel free and buy the clothes I want to.

I will never let another man tell me what I can or can’t wear. I feel incredible. I love looking through dresses and shorts and tank tops and knowing I can choose whatever outfit I want. I felt ugly and embarrassed every summer for wearing t-shirts and jeans every day. I always saw other girls wearing cute dresses and other outfits. I wanted to be them so badly.

And what’s even better is having a boyfriend who encourages me and gives me input on my outfits. Or telling me how pretty/good I look in it.

I have made so much progress. I can’t wait for summer.
